Any dress, photographed at the right angle, showcases the best of you. It just goes to show how a good picture can make you look like a million bucks. Who knew that under those voluminous anarkalis that she normally wears, Aishwarya was hiding an enviable figure!
I shudder at the thought that there are more Forever21 stores opening in India. Now is every Amisha, Bipasha and Malaika going to dress like an overgrown 21 year old? At least they picked an age-appropriate ambassador to open the store but I do think that Alia could use serious styling tips to not look so ‘plain jane’. Now if she absolutely had to dress from the store, here are a few things I’d pick for her without resorting to looking too young or cheap.
Filming her next music video ‘Exotic’ with rapper Pitbull, Priyanka is seen here in South Beach, Fla at the video shoot. The single will debut July 1 in the U.S., with a second coming later this summer. I hope that this one will be more ‘exciting’ than her last foray ‘In My City‘ (after Paris Hilton, this is probably the worst song ever). Aishwarya and hubby Abhishek Bachchan were presenters at the ”Chime For Change: The Sound Of Change Live” Concert at Twickenham Stadium on June 1, 2013 in London, England. Aishwarya is a UNAIDS ambassador and supports AIDS initiatives in India. The duo wore Gucci (naturally, since it is a Gucci-sponsored event). Hers were skinny leather pants, Gucci equestrian boots, a black blazer over a metallic gold blouse. Edgy I must say! She accessorized with gorgeous black jade jewels. Abhishek looked the best he’s looked ever, in a perfectly fitted Gucci peak lapel suit and shoes.
Another presenter at the Chime for Change concert was Freida, who also attended in Gucci ensemble. Whereas Aishwarya wore black, Freida went with the white tuxedo route with Gucci accessories added for color. Whose outfit did you like more – Aishwarya or Freida?
A look that could have gone from ok to great had it not been for the shoes. I could even look past the cami, and personally would have preferred a knee-length, but all that aside, if the shoes had been great, this would have been a good look for Raveena. Next time perhaps?
Both sisters returning from their Paris vacay, both in casual jeans and tops. If I absolutely had to chose, I’d go with Sonam’s look. Who would think that Rhea is a stylist in her look?!

Looks like Sonam is veering towards the retro/vintage look these days and it works. I love the baby blue Paule Ke dress she has on but the flowered vintage number and hairdo are spot on as well.
The Resort 2014 collections have come out and for anyone with some spare change in your pocket, there are a lot of cute stuff to be had. I paid particular attention to Naeem Khan (#NaeemKhan), Prabal Gurung (@prabalgurung), and Bibhu Mohapatra (@BibhuMohapatra) collections.
Of the three, Naeem Khan was predictable as always with the swirly-patterened dresses and red-carpet gowns. I didn’t find anything spectacular save for the two flower-printed dresses.
Prabal Gurung’s collection was chock full of youthful prints, knitted skirts and sweaters, as well as fun gowns with pockets. I’m all for a long gown with pockets!
Perhaps the collection I loved the best was Bibhu Mohapatra’s, which was stunning with prints and streamlined silhouettes with meticulous details, like an ever so artfully placed ruffle. If I could have one, I’d chose Look 11. Loved his collection!

If you think you are seeing double, you won’t be mistaken. On the left are the Elle UK April 2013 covers and on the right is the Elle India June 2013 cover. So much for originality!
These boots are made for walking…and they should just walk right on over to the trash can. How hideous! And paired with lace socks? Or don’t tell me those socks are attached to those booties? Ugh! Either way, what could have been a cute dress was ruined by the shoes.
Looks like Malaika found the perfect job for her! Being a showgirl on the ‘Price is Right’. C’mmmmmmooooooon down!!!

Looks like electric blue is a favored color amongst these ladies and both looked good wearing it. Agree?
Can you be tacky and handsome all at once? Nope, so this title doesn’t apply to one but to both. Tacky for Deepika, not even she can pull off that skimpy yellow saree and bustier blouse. Handsome for Shah Rukh who looks like a rugged gangsta (in a good way).
Red saree or blue dress? Hair up or down? Statement earrings or no jewelry? All these are pressing questions that our starlet Sonam has to face each day. Does she pull of both looks or just one or neither?
Can’t say I’m fan of this minty green Shehla Khan ensemble. It’s a bit too old school but also a bit too revealing at the same time. I think Madhuri could have asked her stylist, Tanya (@tanya1ghavri) to do better, including the hairstyle.
Most of BTown is in the city of Macau for the 14th IIFA Awards ceremony that continues through the weekend. Seen here are a few of our favorite starlets in black, at the IIFA Rocks event. Who wore black the best? Have to hand it to Deepika, hands-down.
